2toDrive: getting your license sooner, how does it work?
With 2toDrive you can start driving earlier
You don’t have to apply separately, and from age 16.5 you can start driving lessons at a driving school right away. From age 17, you may take driving tests. Did you get your license? Then you can drive on the road until you are 18, with a coach to guide you. Super convenient, right?
Why 2toDrive?
2toDrive has been around since 2011 and aims to improve road safety. Young drivers often have less experience and are therefore more likely to have accidents. With 2toDrive, you can gain safe driving experience under supervision. This way, you become a confident driver and are better prepared to drive independently.
You start with your theory exam
Are you 16 years old? Then you may start your theory exam now, even before you start driving lessons. During this exam you show that your traffic knowledge and insight are good and that you recognize dangers in time. You will need this certificate to take your practical exam later.
