Trial Exam Car

To properly prepare for the official practical exam for driver’s license B, it is advisable to request a trial car exam. This trial exam mimics a real exam and helps you prepare.

Parts of the trial exam
During the trial exam for the car driving license, the same parts are tested as during the official practical exam.

Preparation
In the parking lot, you will begin with an eye test, which requires you to be able to read the license plate of a stationary car about 25 meters away. Next, the instructor will ask if you would like to perform some preparatory and controlling actions on the car.

The drive
During the drive, the instructor pays attention to your control of the car, your viewing behavior, how well you give way to other road users and how well you consider other road users. You will be assessed on various aspects, such as merging, crossing intersections and performing special maneuvers.

Interim test instead of a mock exam
Instead of a mock exam, you can also choose to take an interim test. During this test, a number of components are already tested. The advantage of this is that you take an interim test with an official examiner. However, keep in mind that the intermediate test costs more than a test at your own driving school. However, if you pass the interim test, you will not have to perform any special maneuvers during the official practical exam.
